An Open Letter to Kent County Property Owners Regarding Reassessment

"...This is the first reassessment of property in Kent County since 1987. Because of a law passed by the State Legislature...one positive coming out of this process is that after the reassessment is concluded, the property tax assessments for Kent County will be fairer."

Kent County Levy Court is Modernizing Web Services

Kent County launched a new website kentcountyde.gov focused on the needs of our users. This is the latest step in the overall modernization of Kent County web services that will address the needs of users and align overall agency processes. We will continue to improve based on useability testing to make it easier to discover and understand what Kent County government has to offer. Thank you!

A pavilion at Brecknock Park was dedicated to retired Parks & Recreation Director, Harry VanSant. 5th District Commissioner and Chair of Community Services Committee, Jody Sweeney, Commissioner Paul Hertz, Commissioner Joanne Masten, Vice President Allan Angel, and President Terry Pepper were at the celebration. Also in attendance were Mike Rigby and Jeremy Sheppard, Asst. Director and Director of the Community Services Department.
