Levy Court Approves New Fees for the Department of Planning Services

New fees will go into effect on Wednesday, May 8, for the Dept of Planning Services; the Planning Division, Geographic Information Services (GIS), and Inspections & Enforcement (I&E). Most increases are in the $50-100 range, and many services have been updated and streamlined to improve efficiency.

"...This is the first reassessment of property in Kent County since 1987. Because of a law passed by the State Legislature...one positive coming out of this process is that after the reassessment is concluded, the property tax assessments for Kent County will be fairer."
