Kent County Levy Court announces that all County offices will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2025, in observance of Labor Day. Normal business operations will resume on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. for the Administrative Complex and Kent County Recreation Center, and 9:00 a.m. for Kent County Public Library.Service for Kent County Trash customers will be delayed by one day.

The Community Services Director acts on the initiatives of Levy Court to develop and maintain parks, open space, and greenways; offer recreation programs for all ages and operate a public library system which meets the needs of our community.
