Dell appointed as Kent County Deputy Recorder of Deeds

The Hon. Eugenia Thornton appointed Darin Dell as the Deputy Recorder of Deeds, on September 2, 2025. 

“As Deputy Recorder of Deeds, Darin will oversee the day-to-day functions of the office, ensuring the recording of property records is safe, fast, and more convenient for everyone,” said Hon. Eugenia Thornton, Kent County Recorder of Deeds. “He will bring a wealth of experience past and present to the role.” 

Mr. Dell has experience of managing consultants from his time with the State of Delaware, where he worked in the Department of Transportation and the Department of Technology and Information.

"I look forward to working again for the Recorder of Deeds, Hon. Eugenia Thornton, and her team," said Mr. Dell. "It is a privilege to return to the position of Deputy".
