Due to the projected forecast of high temperatures during the week of June 23, 2025, Collection Services will begin at 5:00 am for all Kent County Garbage Collection Districts.

Kent County Cooling Stations

Kent County is advising the public about where they can go to get
relief from the extreme heat. In addition to state service centers, local libraries and the Harrington Senior Center (open 8 AM – 4 PM, no membership required) are also available as cooling locations.
