Kent County Offices will be closed on Friday, April 3rd in honor of Good Friday. Essential and emergency services will still be available. Regular hours will resume on Monday, April 6th. Trash Services will not be affected.
The Sheriff's Office of Kent County would like to bring attention to another scam targeting residents. The caller, posing as a Kent County Sheriff's officer, will advise them that they missed a court date and are demanding that they pay preemptive bail or be imprisoned immediately.
The purpose of the Kent County Library Advisory Committee is to study, research, plan, and make advisory recommendations regarding the direction of libraries in Kent County for the future. The LAC consists of seven members, one from each of Kent County's Levy Court Districts. Members are appointed by Commissioners of the Kent County Levy Court.
