The Sheriff's Office of Kent County would like to bring attention to another scam targeting residents. The caller, posing as a Kent County Sheriff's officer, will advise them that they missed a court date and are demanding that they pay preemptive bail or be imprisoned immediately.
The purpose of the Kent County Pension Review Committee is to review fund investment performance and advise the Levy Court on various aspects of the Kent County Employees Pension Fund, the Kent County Retiree Benefits Fund, and the Kent County Employees Deferred Compensation 457(b) Account. Members of the committee include: four representatives appointed from the community by Levy Court, the Kent County Administrator, the Kent County Finance Director, and one Kent County employee recommended by the Kent County Employee Council. Committee meetings are held quarterly in the Kent County Administrative Complex, 555 Bay Road, Dover, Delaware 19901. A quorum consists of four (4) members; four affirmative votes are required to pass any motion. The Kent County Personnel Director serves as the Pension Administrator.
