Kent County Levy Court will close all administrative offices on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. All County offices will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26. Essential public safety and emergency services will remain fully operational throughout the holiday. Trash services will be delayed by one-day.

These offices collectively support the seven elected Levy Court Commissioners, as well as other County departments and elected officials, by managing employee services, infrastructure, and organizational processes.
At the head of the Department is County Administrator Kevin R. Sipple, the County’s Chief Administrative Officer and highest-ranking appointed official. He provides executive leadership and policy guidance to the Levy Court and ensures the effective and efficient operation of County government.
